To expand our development teams in Rousse we are currently looking for young & enthusiastic software developers with a strong interest in JAVA & XML technologies.

Job profile:
- We are looking for enthusiastic developers, who already have some experience but feel the need to grow to a higher level; those who are looking for different projects, different challenges within an environment where you can grow your competences and improve your skills as a developer and even beyond that…
- The more you get involved in the projects the more you will take part in the analysis phases of the projects as well.
- Communication is important! You will communicate and contribute to the testing teams to improve the quality of the solutions.
- From time to time you will get involved in a communication directly with the end-customers, allowing you to understand better their needs and environments.
- After a solid training period in Belgium (4-6 weeks) you will join our development teams based in Rousse.
Job Requirements:
- Some experience with XML, XSL and HTML technologies;
- Some knowledge of JAVA & JSP; (might be 6 months, that’s OK for us, we don’t need the guru’s here, we need the enthusiasts!);
- Good understanding of HTTP, FTP & SMTP and data communication principals in general;
- Good knowledge of ICT technologies and concepts, particularly on software development;
- Excellent communication skills in English; ability to communicate with customers in a clear and straightforward manner.
Good knowledge of the following is an asset (but not a must):
- WIN OS, Linux, Unix
- JavaScript
- Data security in a web context (f.i. AS2)
- Database technology (Oracle, SQL)
- Document standards (EDI/IDOC)
Personal Skills:
- You are eager to learn other (web) technologies and have an eye for detail;
- Quality is important, as a junior developer and as a senior guru, quality is what differentiates you from all the rest; we are looking for quality oriented developers, not in words but in actions!
- We will coach you to work on different projects at the same time, guide you in stressful situations and learn you how to deal with it.
- In the end you should be able to work autonomous but hey, we understand that you don’t know everything yet! We will assist you and guide you to get confidence and understanding in the projects complexities and technologies used.
